Overview

EG Studios is seeking skilled fabricators and welders for temporary project-based work in their Denver fabrication shop. The position requires experienced tradespeople to perform various fabrication and welding tasks while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Perform metal fabrication, fit-up, welding, grinding, finishing, and assembly.
  • Complete work according to approved fabrication plans, specifications, procedures, and assigned sequencing.
  • Maintain accurate fit-up, dimensions, alignment, and workmanship.
  • Identify and report drawing conflicts, fit-up problems, material issues, quality concerns, and other fabrication constraints before proceeding.
  • Support material staging, organization, loading, unloading, and movement within the shop.
  • Safely operate forklifts and material-handling equipment.
  • Follow established quality-control checks and correct identified deficiencies.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
  • Properly use and care for tools, equipment, materials, and project components.
  • Follow all shop safety requirements and required personal protective equipment standards.
  • Communicate progress, blockers, and material or equipment needs to the Shop Foreman.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated professional welding and metal-fabrication experience.
  • Strong fit-up and fabrication skills.
  • Ability to produce consistent, acceptable welds in the positions and processes required for assigned work.
  • Ability to follow fabrication drawings, measurements, specifications, and established procedures.
  • Ability to use common fabrication, welding, grinding, measuring, and layout tools safely.
  • Ability to safely operate a forklift and other material-handling equipment.
  • Reliable attendance and ability to work within an active production schedule.
  • Willingness to complete a practical welding or fabrication evaluation before being assigned production work.
  • Ability to lift, carry, position, and work around steel materials and fabricated assemblies.
