Overview

Victory Sign Industries, Ltd, a national sign company in Fort Oglethorpe, GA, is accepting applications for a Sheet Metal Fabricator. The ideal candidate will have experience working with aluminum, be knowledgeable of many techniques and tools, be able to read drawings and have a mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

  • Bend, cut and mig weld aluminum and steel.
  • Operate various sheet metal shears, brake presses, circular metal saws, and other equipment.
  • Recognize, set up, and operate hand and power tools common to the trade.
  • Read blueprints and drawings for fitting and fabricating metal products.
  • Lift and carry items up to 50 lbs and maintain an efficient, steady work pace.
  • Work independently and as a team to complete work orders timely.
  • Pay close attention to detail and have good organizational skills.
  • Follow all safety, regulatory and environmental/hazardous standards.

Requirements

  • Experience working with aluminum.
  • Knowledge of many techniques and tools.
  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to read drawings.
  • Must be mechanically inclined.
  • Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs.
  • Must pass drug screening and pre-employment physical.
