Job Description

Overview

The Maintenance Worker position is responsible for ensuring that all warehouse equipment is maintained in a safe and efficient operating condition, including performing fire inspections and various maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Keep up to date on all maintenance records for warehouse equipment.
  • Perform preventive maintenance for chargers, batteries, and power equipment on schedule.
  • Issue POs for all parts ordered on approval per management.
  • Issue work orders for all work performed.
  • Perform light maintenance on trailers, including replacing lights and repairing interior walls and floors.
  • Assist in general maintenance of the building and grounds, including repairing storage racks and basic electrical and plumbing repairs.
  • Perform scheduled monthly fire inspections.
  • Perform monthly sprinkler inspections.

Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience required.
  • Ability to read and write English is necessary.
  • 10 years of technical experience in mechanics and electronics is preferred.
