Job Description

Overview

UPS is currently hiring Industrial Maintenance Mechanics to perform maintenance activities that keep package handling facilities operating efficiently. The role involves fast-paced work and requires strong electrical skills, with candidates expected to be available for various shifts in a 24 x 7 operation.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, adjust, and replace AC and DC electrical equipment.
  • Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and/or replace mechanical components.
  • Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and/or replace pneumatic equipment.
  • Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and/or replace hydraulic equipment.
  • Weld equipment as defined by scope of work.
  • Perform preventive maintenance inspections of plant equipment.

Requirements

  • Strong electrical background required.
  • Must pass electrical assessment.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or authorized to work in the U.S.
