Overview

Silent-Aire, a division of Johnson Controls, is a global leader in owner equipment manufacturing (OEM) dedicated to providing custom solutions for data center customers. The Welder will be responsible for executing core welding tasks while ensuring compliance with company policies and enhancing employee engagement and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret blueprints or welding process specifications.
  • Operate Miller Aluma Pro Mig gun.
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment using processes such as GMAW, TIG, and Plasma Cutter.
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment.
  • Maintain safe work practices.
  • Conduct Technical Inspections.
  • Prepare input for various management and log reports.
  • Review blueprints and specifications to ensure functionality.
  • Develop goals and priorities; assign tasks and projects.
  • Ensure accuracy and completion of assigned tasks and projects.
  • Keep detailed and accurate reports and documentation.
  • Maintain knowledge of changes in technology, compliance, and repair techniques.
  • Perform other assigned work as required.

What you'll be running
