Lennox is a leading innovator in HVAC and refrigeration solutions, providing a supportive environment for career development. The Facility Maintenance Tech II role involves performing repairs, modifications, and preventative maintenance on buildings, facilities, and equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance service and repairs in carpentry, painting, and plastering.
  • Repair or replace defective equipment parts using hand tools and power tools.
  • Diagnose mechanical problems and determine corrective actions using blueprints and manuals.
  • Inspect drives, motors, and belts, check fluid levels, and replace filters.
  • Assemble, install, or repair wiring, electrical components, plumbing, and machinery.
  • Inspect, operate, and test machinery and equipment to diagnose malfunctions.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least 2 years of related experience.
  • Strong knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs and maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of materials, methods, and tools for construction or repair.
  • Strong knowledge of design techniques, tools, blueprints, and models.
  • Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of solutions.
  • Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs.
