Overview

Novolex is a leading manufacturer of food, beverage, and specialty packaging, committed to sustainability and supporting various industries. The Maintenance Tech will troubleshoot and conduct repairs and preventive maintenance for injection molding machines and support equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform mold changes.
• Troubleshoot and conduct repair for electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical systems.
• Remove defective parts by dismantling devices using hoists and hand and power tools.
• Determine changes in dimensional requirements of parts using measuring instruments.
• Perform preventive maintenance and cleaning on production equipment and machinery.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, Federal, Local and plant safety standards during maintenance and repair activities.
• Report mold or machine deficiencies to management.
• Maintain continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions and needs.
• Satisfactorily complete training courses as determined by management.
• Perform other tasks as needed or assigned.

Requirements

• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Successful completion of pre-employment background and drug screen.
• High School Diploma or equivalent with technical training.
• Must be able to work overtime as required, including weekends.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a maintenance mechanic/technician role in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience operating forklift equipment.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (both written and verbal).
• Maintenance Mechanic must provide their own tools.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
