Overview

Refresco is the world’s largest bottler for retailers and A-brands, aiming to put their drinks on every table. The Maintenance Technician role involves maintaining and repairing beverage manufacturing and packaging equipment, requiring strong mechanical skills.

Responsibilities

  • Complete preventive and proactive maintenance per the schedule to prevent breakdowns on equipment.
  • Utilize root-cause analysis skills to investigate breakdowns and line stoppages.
  • Act as the 'first responder' when a line stops producing and ensure appropriate mechanical help is on site.
  • Support the facility's food safety and food quality programs.
  • Prioritize work to ensure timely maintenance, repair, and installation of equipment.
  • Utilize the CMMS to manage work orders and spare parts.
  • Repair or maintain the operating condition of industrial production machinery.
  • Observe and test machinery operation to diagnose malfunctions.
  • Operate newly repaired machinery to verify adequacy of repairs.
  • Analyze test results and machine error messages to diagnose equipment problems.
  • Review maintenance reports to plan and modify maintenance activities.
  • Inspect machines for conformance with operational and safety standards.
  • Examine systems to determine needed repairs.
  • Demonstrate proficiency with Basic Tool Room Equipment, Hydraulic systems, and PLCs.
  • Pursue growth and developmental opportunities and seek feedback.
  • Perform other duties as required by supervisor.

Requirements

  • Must pass the Ramsey Mechanical (Electrical) Skills and Aptitude Assessment.
  • 3+ years experience in industrial manufacturing maintenance.
  • Strong Electrical/Electronic troubleshooting and repair skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules and maintenance instructions.
  • Demonstrated mathematical skills for measurements.
  • Ability to carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Computer skills.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours.
  • Strong written and interpersonal communication skills.
