Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. This position is responsible for repairing and maintaining the club's facilities, equipment, and systems to ensure they operate efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities

  • Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building infrastructure.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with equipment and facilities to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues to identify root causes and effective solutions.
  • Install, maintain, and repair facility fixtures, including lighting, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and best practices.
  • Collaborate with outside contractors and vendors when necessary to complete repairs and maintenance projects.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.
  • Document and report all maintenance activities, including completed repairs and needed improvements.
  • Assist with seasonal and special projects, such as preparing the facility for inclement weather or special events.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical training preferred.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of maintenance or mechanical experience in a similar setting (hospitality, club, or facility maintenance preferred).
  • Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
  • Experience with hand and power tools, diagnostic equipment, and maintenance software.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various environmental conditions, including heat, cold, and wet weather.
  • Possession of a valid Driver's License (not suspended, revoked, canceled, or disqualified from driving).
