Overview

The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for understanding and responding to internal customer needs while providing superior customer service. The role involves completing preventive maintenance jobs, assisting tradesmen, and maintaining inventory levels in a positive and cooperative manner.

Responsibilities

  • Completes regular assigned preventive maintenance jobs.
  • Reviews previous shift log and picks up daily work requests.
  • Checks in with Supervisors for special assignments.
  • Reviews work requests at end of shift and makes explanatory comments.
  • Maintains inventory levels and coordinates material ordering.
  • Returns incomplete work service requests to office with explanation.
  • Assists tradesman with plumbing, electrical, mechanical, painting, and carpentry tasks.
  • Works off ladders, lifts, and in various environments and climate conditions.
  • Acts as a Table Games Device Technical and performs preventive maintenance on Table Games and Poker tables.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
  • Thorough knowledge of general maintenance is required.
  • Minimum of 3 years maintenance experience is required.
  • Must be able to work in smoke-filled environments and stand for prolonged periods.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and pass drug screening.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the appropriate license through the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.
