Overview

The Maintenance Clerk position at Costco involves building and repairing fixtures and structures, performing routine maintenance and repairs for various machinery and equipment, and providing janitorial and general maintenance services for the warehouse and grounds, all while ensuring a high level of member service.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine maintenance and repairs for warehouse and ancillary business machinery and equipment, such as forklifts, HVAC equipment, refrigeration units, ovens, scales, wrappers, compactor, baler, and dock plates.
• Builds and repairs fixtures, structures, and displays using hand and power tools.
• Repairs plumbing problems and installs and maintains plumbing fixtures.
• Repairs electrical systems under 50 volts.
• Participates in janitorial duties, cleans floors, empties garbage, and cleans office, break room, and restrooms.
• Cleans and maintains grounds and building, performs roof checks, and participates in snow and ice removal.
• Follows safety and security procedures when working on electrical equipment.
• Checks daily schedule for assigned tasks, construction, maintenance, and repair jobs.
• Ensures proper cleanup and disposal of hazardous materials.
• Assists with department duties and in other departments of the warehouse as necessary.
