Overview

Aqua, an Essential Utilities company, is seeking a Field Inspector - Third Class to join their team in Willow Grove. The company provides water and wastewater services across multiple states and is committed to sustainable growth and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Transfer field notes to finished plans and complete material inventory.
  • Coordinate and plan daily work duties with contract construction crews.
  • Communicate project status and job progression to department supervisors.
  • Perform all department tasks or functions as directed by the supervisor.

Requirements

  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Must be familiar with Company territory.
  • Must be available for overtime.
  • Must have math skills pertaining to Construction Department functions.
  • Must be able to read and interpret construction drawings and Company construction standards.
  • Must have drafting skills.
  • Must be capable of lifting 100 pounds.
  • Knowledge of pipe and box locators and ability to operate both.
  • Must have ability to process all department forms.
  • Capable of professional communication with customers, vendors, and municipal representatives.
  • Must be able to use a computer and all associated Aqua programs.

  • The rate of pay is $39.54/hr.
  • A written and field exam may be given.
