Overview

Sunbelt Rentals is a leading equipment rental company in North America, seeking a Road Mechanic to perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on various equipment in remote locations. Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair equipment to avoid downtime.
  • Work on a variety of makes, models, and equipment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; some trade school or equivalent training desired.
  • 3-5 years of mechanic experience with diesel or heavy construction equipment preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record; CDL may be required in some locations.
  • Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems and troubleshooting fundamentals.
  • Ability to be flexible with changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bilingual (Spanish or other) may be required based on location needs.
