Job Description

Overview

ExxonMobil is seeking a Maintenance Technician for their Paulsboro, NJ Lube Oil Blend Plant. The role involves executing mechanical preventative maintenance and major repair projects while adhering to corporate safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair mechanical equipment including high speed packaging equipment, stacker cranes, pumps, gearboxes, and motors.
  • Complete and lead major repairs and rebuilds of industrial equipment.
  • Perform welding for repairs and fabrication.
  • Conduct advanced machining and fabrication of parts including lathe and mill work.
  • Read and comprehend technical manuals and drawings.
  • Demonstrate proficiency as a permit acceptor including use of permit forms and energy isolation logs.
  • Properly account for parts consumed during repairs and work completed.
  • Complete other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Work in accordance with relevant corporate safety standards.

Requirements

  • Must possess at least an associate trade school degree or equivalent experience as a machinist/millwright in a manufacturing facility.
  • Must have strong mechanical, machining, and welding skills and knowledge of plant operations.
  • Must meet physical qualifications including working outdoors in varying weather, climbing, lifting items up to 50lbs, wearing a respirator, and working at heights up to 150 feet.
