Overview

DanHil Containers is a leading manufacturer of corrugated containers, dedicated to delivering high-quality packaging solutions with a strong emphasis on safety, efficiency, and innovation. We are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Technician to support our production operations by ensuring maximum equipment uptime through preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems using schematics and technical drawings.
  • Perform preventative maintenance to minimize equipment failures and production interruptions.
  • Diagnose, modify, lubricate, and operate equipment while maintaining industrial control systems.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to ensure timely and safe repairs.
  • Complete and report all repairs at the end of the shift, including required documentation of parts and material usage.
  • Follow plant safety protocols, including proper lifting techniques and the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Ensure facilities and production equipment are maintained in a safe and efficient working condition.
  • Perform setup, startup, shutdowns, maintenance repairs, and PMs on production equipment.
  • Utilize a wide variety of machine tools and equipment to complete repairs and maintenance tasks.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in manufacturing equipment repair, diagnostics, and preventive maintenance.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Practical knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and electric machine controls.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to adapt to fast-paced environments.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and extended shifts as needed.
  • 1+ years of experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) preferred.

Additional Information

  • Comfortable working in noisy environments and variable conditions.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds a minimum of 10 times per day and occasionally lift 50 pounds over shoulder height.
  • Ability to safely climb ladders without assistance.
