The Maintenance Tech A position at International Paper involves assisting journeymen-level mechanical maintenance craftsmen in routine maintenance work, with opportunities for hands-on training and advancement. Responsibilities

  • Assist journeymen-level mechanical maintenance craftsmen in routine maintenance work.
  • Perform many duties independently.
  • Participate in hands-on experiences and classroom instruction through the Global Manufacturing Training program.

Requirements

  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Minimum high school graduate, GED, or equivalent work experience.
  • Eligible for employment in the US.
  • One year experience in Maintenance Skill Areas or one year vocational/technical education in Maintenance Disciplines.
  • Willing to work in industrial conditions and meet safety requirements.
  • Undergo drug screening and health assessments as a condition of employment.
  • Ability to work any shift and/or a rotating shift schedule.
  • Willingness to work overtime, holidays, and weekends.

  • Location: Lithonia Box, 6792 Marbut Rd, Lithonia GA 30058.
  • Night shift: 12 hours rotating from 7pm to 7am plus overtime as needed.
