Overview

The Service Technician position involves performing maintenance on water treatment equipment to support Service Center uptime. This role is available for both day and night shifts in Atlanta, GA, and requires a high school diploma or GED along with relevant experience.

Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled and corrective maintenance on water treatment equipment.
  • Prepare, test, and mobilize equipment during peak demand periods.
  • Conduct hands-on training for technician and operator-level personnel on equipment operation, maintenance, and safety.
  • Maintain accurate inventory of spare parts and consumables, managing replenishment orders.
  • Document Service Center activities, equipment condition reports, and training records in accordance with SOPs.
  • Operate, monitor, and optimize water treatment systems at customer facilities.
  • Troubleshoot and perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial equipment.
  • Conduct detailed analytical testing on various water quality parameters.
  • Communicate system status to customer management and provide technical summaries of work performed.
  • Respond to emergency service requests and participate in the on-call rotation.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED with 5+ years of service, maintenance, or operations experience in an industrial environment; OR an Associate’s/Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline with 2+ years of relevant experience.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain access credentials for customer sites.
  • Willingness to perform physical duties including lifting, climbing, and confined space entry.
  • Experience with PLC control systems, programming, and troubleshooting (preferred).
  • Previous experience in water treatment operations or industrial services (preferred).
  • Experience mentoring or training technician-level personnel (preferred).
