Overview

Mission Critical Group (MCG) is an end-to-end power systems and solutions provider that accelerates time-to-power and delivers scalable, resilient infrastructure for mission critical environments. The Production Lead performs a dual role, providing leadership to a team of Production Technicians and executing assembly responsibilities on assigned projects.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direction, mentoring, and training in operational SOPs to Production Technicians levels 1-4.
  • Ensure compliance with established policies and best practices.
  • Monitor performance and provide coaching to the assigned team of Production Technicians.
  • Oversee productivity and ensure production quality meets company standards.
  • Conduct safety briefings and ensure safety policies are followed.
  • Support in the completion of performance evaluations for team members.
  • Participate in operational, safety, and/or supervisory training as required.
  • Provide coverage for Electrical Assembly Manager during absence or overtime.
  • Open the production facility as needed and ensure security at site closure.
  • Assemble control panel and switchgear components with minimal direction.
  • Modify and retrofit existing structures to meet customer specifications.
  • Assemble metalwork and handle sheet metal goods.
  • Read, understand, and follow blueprint diagrams.
  • Follow instructions to meet production schedules.
  • Be proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools.
  • Perform fabrication tasks including saw cutting and drilling.
  • Cut, strip, crimp wires, and make cables as needed.
  • Ensure work output meets required standards to avoid rework.
  • Assemble connectors.
  • Acquire all mandatory certifications including OSHA10 and CPR.
  • May be required to cross-train in other sections of the company.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Minimum of 4-5 years in mechanical assembly or associated field.
  • Background knowledge of electrical system wiring (DC & AC) and control systems.
  • Prior leadership experience highly desirable.
  • Proficiency using hand tools, power tools, ruler, scale, tape measure, and calipers.
  • Proficiency reading and understanding blueprints.
  • Demonstrated experience in panel assembly and wiring.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet severe time constraints.
  • Satisfactory completion of additional background screening.
  • Valid driver’s license.

Additional Information

  • Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday; 6AM-4:30PM.
