Overview

Intuitive is a pioneer in robotic-assisted surgery, committed to minimally invasive care and fostering an inclusive and diverse team. The Assembly Technician 2 will assemble various products in a manufacturing environment, focusing on quality and productivity goals.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble a variety of products according to standard work instructions and prints.
  • Operate and set up production equipment and fixtures as needed.
  • Become proficient at multiple assembly tasks while meeting workmanship, safety, and productivity requirements.
  • Perform preparation work such as line clearance and changeover.
  • Inspect own and others' work and perform simple repairs.
  • Mentor others in areas of expertise as needed.
  • Complete manufacturing documentation accurately.
  • Maintain the accuracy of identification and count of point-of-use materials.
  • Follow all corporate, regulatory, safety, and production policies and procedures.
  • Maintain an excellent attendance record.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 - 2 years of previous mechanical assembly experience preferred.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English.
  • Ability to perform basic math operations.
  • Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions.
  • Ability to work varying shifts and in a team environment.
  • Ability to work in a controlled environment room.

  • This job is fully onsite.
  • Candidates may be required to show proof of vaccination against certain diseases.
