Overview

Founded in 1932, the company is a global leader in the design and manufacture of highly engineered interconnect, cable assembly, and connector solutions serving various markets. The Cerritos facility is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support production equipment, facility systems, and automated manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production equipment, facility systems, and automated machinery using CMMS and TPM practices.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, PLC, servo-driven, and CNC-controlled equipment to maximize uptime.
  • Install, modify, and maintain electrical systems and manufacturing equipment while adhering to safety standards.
  • Execute work orders, support equipment upgrades and installations, and collaborate with vendors and technical teams to resolve maintenance issues.
  • Support plant safety, emergency systems, 5S initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts while partnering with Production, Maintenance, and EHS teams.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or vocational training preferred.
  • 2+ years of maintenance experience supporting electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment in a manufacturing environment.
  • Working knowledge of electrical circuits, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial equipment.
  • Experience with hand and power tools; tool repair experience and exposure to Lean Manufacturing practices preferred.
