Overview

The Coating Operator position involves operating automatic and manual coating furnace equipment in various production processes. The role requires adherence to operating procedures and may involve working in different departments to maintain production flow.

Responsibilities

  • Operate powder mixers, powder sifters, grit blast machines, coating furnaces, and coating control panels.
  • Pack parts into tooling and fill with coating powders.
  • Load and unload parts as well as start and end coating runs in the coating furnace.
  • Unload parts from tooling and demask masked parts.
  • Assist in other departments as directed by the Shift Supervisor to maintain production flow.

Requirements

  • Ability to work in varying temperature and noise levels.
  • Physical demands include standing, bending, sitting, lifting up to 50lbs, and forklift driving.
  • Experience in coating furnace operations.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience with similar equipment and processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
  • Prior experience in the Aerospace industry is preferred.

  • Work schedule is 36 hours with pay for 40 hours.
  • Position is for the AM shift on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 10am to 10pm.
