Overview

Greif is a global leader in performance packaging located in 40 countries, delivering innovative solutions for essential products. The Senior Maintenance Technician will perform preventative maintenance and repairs to ensure operational excellence and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance according to procedures.
  • Conduct visual inspections and check fluid levels.
  • Listen for unusual sounds to detect malfunctions.
  • Dismantle, inspect, and replace defective parts.
  • Install and maintain pipe systems and related equipment.
  • Install and repair electrical apparatus such as transformers and wiring.
  • Maintain the physical structure of the establishment.
  • Install machinery, platforms, and guards.
  • Follow guidance from senior colleagues and assist junior colleagues.
  • Adhere to safety procedures and practices.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 2-4 years of experience in maintenance.
  • Solid understanding of preventive maintenance and inspection procedures.
  • Ability to inspect, test, dismantle, and repair mechanical and electrical components.
  • Working knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
  • Skill in reading and applying diagrams and technical instructions.
  • Ability to detect malfunctions and recommend corrective actions.
  • Experience installing and maintaining machinery and equipment.
  • Capability to support and guide junior colleagues.
  • Commitment to cleanliness, safety, and compliance with procedures.
