Overview

The Electrical Electronics Mechanic position involves fabricating, installing, and modifying aircraft electrical and electronics wiring systems, as well as performing continuity checks and servicing various aircraft electrical components. The role requires hands-on experience and the ability to read electrical blueprints.

Responsibilities

  • Fabricate, install, and modify aircraft electrical and electronics wiring systems.
  • Incorporate design changes and make continuity checks on wiring systems.
  • Determine work operation sequences and make necessary layouts.
  • Wire and assemble complex aircraft electrical components.
  • Install preassembled wiring harnesses and connect wiring to equipment.
  • Perform hands-on electrical work on aircraft, including routing wire.
  • Strip, crimp, terminate, and solder wire for aircraft installations.

Requirements

  • Two years of aircraft electrical assembly or electrical wire harness experience.
  • Must perform and pass Proficiency Demonstration after training.
