Overview

RK Industries, LLC is a family-owned company that provides a range of construction, manufacturing, and building services. The Field Pipe Welder position involves ensuring quality workmanship in mechanical system installations and performing various welding tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain sufficient personal hand tools for assigned tasks.
  • Ensure quality workmanship on all mechanical system installations.
  • Schedule daily and weekly trade activities.
  • Manage trade related material, tool, and equipment requisitions.
  • Ensure trade specific workforce quality.
  • Meet or exceed established production standards.
  • Identify sub-standard situations in pipefitting.
  • Perform pipe welding using SMAW, GTAW, and GMAW.
  • Seal pipe entirely with a solid weld.

Requirements

  • Field Welder 1 or 2 qualifications.
  • Ability to perform technical responsibilities under supervision.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of concepts and procedures.
  • Coordinate tasks under established procedures.
  • Requires judgment or initiative in resolving issues.
  • Supervision and guidance of crews.
  • Skilled specialist or recent college/university graduate.

What you'll be running
