Overview

Riddleberger Brothers, Inc. is seeking to hire a talented and growth-minded individual to join our team as a welder. This position offers career opportunities that allow you to be part of a team and grow as an individual.

Responsibilities

  • Fuse metal pipe segments together using various welding processes.
  • Weld pipe components in flat, vertical or overhead positions.
  • Monitor the fitting, burning and welding processes to avoid overheating or warping.
  • Perform normal cutting and grinding tasks.
  • Fit own pipe together.

Requirements

  • Must be a high school or trade school graduate or have a GED.
  • Three years’ experience in pipefitting, fabricating, and welding.
  • Experience pipe welding to code is preferred.
  • Ability to obtain welding certification.
  • Ability to work on a team and interact with people.
  • Punctual and regular attendance.
  • Understanding of single and three phase electrical systems.
  • Working knowledge of applicable boiler codes.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to meet company driver qualification policy.
