Overview

Join Sundt, one of Arizona's leading builders, as an Ironworker on a high-profile industrial project. We seek skilled craftsmen experienced in heavy commercial and industrial construction for long-term full-time employment.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, lay-out and perform all types of structural steel erection and fabrication work.
  • Seek opportunities to share knowledge and teach others.
  • Eliminate waste such as waiting, rework, transporting, and material storage.
  • Inspect subordinates' work for accuracy and compliance with plans.
  • Lift and carry heavy items up to 50 pounds.
  • Look for opportunities for improvement in all tasks.
  • Maintain positive working relationships with all crew members.
  • Produce high quality work safely and productively.
  • Provide feedback to ensure all materials and tools are available for the work.

Requirements

  • Must be able to read and understand drawings, specifications, safety and quality standards.
  • Minimum of three to six plus years of experience in the industrial/commercial construction industry.
  • In-depth understanding of the ironworker trade.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
