Overview

Kleinfelder, a Forbes' Top Employer for Engineers in North America, is seeking ambitious engineers to join their Engineering team as Associate Engineers in Atlanta, GA. The role involves providing high-quality solutions to natural gas utilities and pipeline operators while fostering a people-first culture and opportunities for professional growth.

Responsibilities

  • Collect data and gather information or documents.
  • Perform standard computations and analysis.
  • Perform basic design tasks.
  • Prepare drawings and visual aids.
  • Assist with preparation of material specifications, technical reports, plans, procedures, drawings, permit applications, project documentation, and CAD work.
  • Observe construction activities.
  • Acquire basic knowledge and develop skills in assigned workstreams.
  • Apply prescribed techniques and procedures according to established standards.
  • Perform routine technical work not requiring previous experience.
  • Acquire understanding of professional and ethical responsibilities.
  • Exercise limited judgment on details of work.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering.
  • 0 - 3 years relevant work experience.
  • Engineer-In-Training Certification (Desired).
  • Working knowledge of CAD and GIS software (Desired).
  • Technical communication skills.
  • Proficient use of MS Outlook, Word, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint.
  • Utility business understanding (Desired).
  • Valid Driver's license.
