Overview

Graywolf is a heavy industrial/commercial construction contractor with over 45 years of experience, providing end-to-end solutions in construction and facility management. The Pipe Superintendent oversees field construction activities, ensuring compliance with plans, specifications, and schedules.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and direct work activities within assigned construction crafts.
  • Approve coordination of craft personnel, materials, and equipment.
  • Support project management with planning and construction methods.
  • Analyze situations and recommend appropriate courses of action.
  • Ensure all work is within approved scope and compliant with requirements.
  • Provide development opportunities for project personnel.
  • Work within company and client policies, including safety requirements.
  • Learn and apply knowledge of relevant statutes and guidelines.
  • Perform miscellaneous duties as directed.

Requirements

  • 10 years of pipe experience, with a minimum of 5 years as Journeyman.
  • NCCER plus Pipe Fitter certification preferred.
  • Completion of pre-hire and post-hire substance abuse testing.
  • Completion of safety-related certifications such as OSHA 10.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be computer literate and able to use Microsoft Office applications.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy are essential.
  • Travel is required.

  • Lift and carry heavy items weighing up to 45 pounds.
  • Work up to a 12-hour shift in varying temperature extremes.
  • Climb and maintain balance on steel frameworks, stairs, ladders, and scaffolds.
