Overview

Walter P Moore is seeking a well-prepared graduate from a top engineering school to join their Construction Engineering Services team. This role involves working on projects for contractors and steel fabricators, focusing on structural analysis and design.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and validate structures at different stages of construction.
  • Develop construction sequencing for complex structures.
  • Analyze and design temporary structures to support construction.
  • Design steel connections.

Requirements

  • Master's in Civil Engineering with emphasis in Structural.
  • EIT certification.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with Tekla and Building Information Modeling (BIM) is preferred.
  • Demonstrated strength in steel design and structural analysis.
  • SAP 2000 modeling experience.
  • Work experience/internships with contractors, steel fabricators, or steel erectors strongly preferred.
