Responsibilities

  • Fabricates reinforcing steel (rebar) products according to work orders and specifications.
  • Sets up and safely operates rebar fabrication equipment.
  • Stacks, bands, stages, and organizes fabricated materials according to production flow.
  • Inspects finished materials to ensure accuracy and conformance to specifications.
  • Identifies defects and makes necessary adjustments.
  • Prepares completed products for shipment using protective materials.
  • Maintains a clean, safe, and organized work area.
  • Participates in required safety training and reports hazards.

Requirements

  • HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred.
  • 0-2 years of experience in area of responsibility.
  • Experience in rebar fabrication or related production environment preferred.
  • Ability to read basic work orders and rebar tags.
  • Experience operating fabrication machinery.
  • Forklift and/or overhead crane certification required, where applicable.
  • Use of PPE is required.

Additional Information

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand for periods exceeding 60 minutes.
  • Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
  • Exposure to varying weather conditions.
