Overview

Empire Roofing, A Tecta America Company, is seeking a Commercial Roofing Sheet Metal Mechanic in Atlanta, GA. The role involves fabrication and installation of sheet metal on various commercial roof systems, working closely with the roofing crew to complete assigned tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Fabricate and install sheet metal on commercial roof systems.
  • Work with the roofing crew to complete all aspects of assigned jobs.
  • Perform tear-off of existing gutters and coping cap.
  • Complete installations and other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

  • 5-10 years of experience in sheet metal installation.
  • Ability to fabricate metal.
  • Capability to fill out daily reports.
  • Bilingual is a huge plus.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Must be respectful and diligent.

Additional Information

  • Field environment with exposure to heights, noise, and temperature.
  • Extensive standing, walking, climbing ladders, and frequent lifting.
  • Mostly local travel to Atlanta with occasional travel.
  • Pre-employment background check and drug screen required.
