Overview

The Welder Equipment Repair role is responsible for preventative and corrective maintenance, layout, installation, diagnostics and repair of all welding and robotic equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on welding and robotic equipment.
  • Conduct layout and installation of welding equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair welding and robotic equipment.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of pneumatic design.
  • Knowledge of hydraulic design.
  • Understanding of electrical circuits.
  • Experience with Controls Hardware design.
  • Familiarity with electrical panel design.
  • Experience with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controller).
  • Experience with HMIs (Human Machine Interface).
  • Skills in robot programming.
  • Knowledge of device communication networks (DNET, ENET, and Profibus).
