Overview
TREO Staffing is hiring an experienced Combo Fitter/Welder who is dependable, safety-minded, and skilled in both structural and pipe work. The role involves steady projects and opportunities for overtime in marine and industrial environments with a respected team.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, isometric prints, and schematics.
- Measure and mark dimensions using squares, tape measures, and levels.
- Cut, prep, and bevel using torches, saws, and beveling tools.
- Align pipes, plates, and structural steel; tack weld to hold precise position prior to final weld-out.
- Run multiple processes: SMAW, GTAW, GMAW, and FCAW.
- Perform position welding—flat, vertical, horizontal, and overhead—to meet strict industrial requirements.
- Set up, rig, adjust, and troubleshoot diesel or electric welding machines.
