Overview

Stellar Energy is seeking a 2nd Class Welder to perform various welding functions on structural plate and 6G pipe using SMAW, FCAW, and GTAW. The company specializes in turnkey cooling solutions for data centers and industrial manufacturing, emphasizing scalable and customizable infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Set up welding machines for performance in all positions to certified testing criteria.
  • Analyze blueprints for weld insignia and apply them to assembly components.
  • Prepare metal surfaces for welding according to job-specific requirements.
  • Conduct visual observations of pre and post-welded surfaces and interpret job requirements.
  • Identify insufficient weld criteria and blend to repair effectively.
  • Monitor quality, safety, and health regulations while completing daily work assignments.
  • Operate overhead cranes and forklifts.
  • Prepare for ISO 9001 and other audits.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Experience in threading, grinding, welding, brazing, rigging, plasma cutting, and gas arc cutting.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to understand and follow instructions.

  • This position is full-time and operates out of Jacksonville, FL or Fort Worth, TX.
  • Occasional evening and weekend work may be required.
