Job Description

Overview

We are a small but busy and growing company specializing in the fabrication and occasionally installation of custom miscellaneous metals including railings, handrails, ladders, and small warehouse loading dock stairs. We are looking to add several high energy, hardworking welder/shop helpers to our team.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the fabrication of custom miscellaneous metals.
  • Support field installation tasks as needed.
  • Travel to job sites in the greater Houston area occasionally.

Requirements

  • Be able to read a tape measure.
  • Have experience using basic power tools such as a grinder, saw, drill, etc.
  • Be able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Tolerate working in a non-climate controlled environment in Houston weather.
  • Have at least 1 year of experience in a construction or fabrication related work environment.
  • Be able to pass a drug test upon hire and randomly thereafter.
  • Have reliable transportation to the shop and job sites.
  • Provide documentation of eligibility to work in the U.S.
