Job Summary:

We have an immediate opening for a highly motivated Welder/Fabricator with a desire to work in a fast paced, quality centered environment. This role is vital to ensuring the resulting end product meets specifications as designated by the customer, meets all quality tests, and is delivered on time. As such, a unique blend of the following characteristics is a must:

  • Exhibit knowledge of basic weld techniques
  • Ability to set and weld with MIG welding equipment from thin gauge material to heavy plate
  • Ability to fabricate and manufacture metal parts for later assembly
  • Ability to follow blueprints to ensure specifications of output
  • Use effective communications and organizational skills

Environment/Physical Requirements:

This position is carried out in a weld shop environment and as such has the following physical work requirements:

  • Must be able to position weld apparatus in any position for the work required
  • Ability to stand, crouch, and occasionally lift heavy equipment
  • Must be willing to perform work in a hot/cold dirty environment

Required Qualifications:

  • Prior experience welding, preferably 1+ years
  • Familiarity with common welding tools and procedures, including MIG welding, metal fabricating, grinding, and finishing metal
  • Must be able to meet deadlines and complete projects in a timely manner
  • Must be able to pass weld test
