Overview

Johnson Controls, a global leader in thermal management and energy efficiency, is seeking a skilled HVAC Journeyman Pipefitter/Welder to support its growing HVAC business in North America. Responsibilities

  • Install and retrofit HVAC mechanical systems and equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems including boilers, chillers, and steam systems.
  • Join pipes using various methods such as soldering, brazing, and welding.
  • Oversee project installations and ensure quality standards.
  • Maintain communication with customers and project teams.
  • Uphold safety standards and participate in factory certification programs.

Requirements

  • Requires Mechanical Journeyman status.
  • 5+ years of light commercial/commercial HVAC/mechanical Pipefitter/Welder experience.
  • Valid driver's license and appropriate licenses to work with refrigerants.
  • Boiler and steam operational & service knowledge.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
