Overview

Cougar USA is a leading supplier of innovative water control solutions for commercial buildings, focusing on reliability and efficiency. They are seeking a detail-oriented Tank Assembly Technician to join their Field Service team, responsible for assembling and inspecting custom tanks to meet production and quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble and configure tanks according to detailed production drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
  • Install fittings, valves, gauges, and other components onto tanks, ensuring proper placement and functionality.
  • Conduct inspections and functional tests on assembled tanks to ensure compliance with quality control standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of assembly processes, testing results, and inventory usage.
  • Safely handle materials and components, including organizing and maintaining workstations and tools.
  • Work closely with the production and engineering teams to address issues and maintain production schedules.
  • Identify and resolve issues in assembly processes to maintain quality and efficiency.
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe and organized work environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certifications in mechanical assembly or related fields is a plus.
  • OSHA-30 Certification required.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment is preferred.
  • Strong ability to understand and follow technical instructions, blueprints, and drawings.
  • Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and mechanical systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Consistently ensures precision and accuracy in assembly and testing processes.
  • Effectively prioritize and complete tasks to meet production deadlines.
  • Demonstrates resourcefulness in troubleshooting and resolving assembly challenges.
  • Works well within a team environment and communicates effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in a manufacturing environment.
