Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Assembler-Large Tools to join our manufacturing team. This role involves assembling large-scale tools and equipment according to engineering specifications, blueprints, and safety standards, ensuring products are assembled accurately, efficiently, and safely.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares work by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists.
  • Positions parts and subassemblies using templates or measurements.
  • Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit and fastening parts.
  • Verifies specifications by measuring completed components.
  • Resolves assembly problems by altering dimensions and notifying supervisors for additional resources.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
  • Technical or vocational training in mechanical assembly, manufacturing, or related field preferred.
  • Certification in industrial assembly, mechanical systems, or tool operation is an advantage.
  • 1–3 years of experience in mechanical assembly, manufacturing, or industrial production environments.
  • Hands-on experience assembling large tools or mechanical components preferred.
  • Experience reading and interpreting blueprints and assembly instructions.
  • Familiarity with torque specifications and quality control processes.
  • Experience operating power tools, pneumatic tools, and hand tools in a production setting.
  • 2+ years of warehouse experience in inventory or assembly.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
