Overview

Heath Consultants Incorporated, established in 1933, is a leading provider of services and equipment to the natural gas and utility industry, manufacturing its equipment in Houston, TX. The company is seeking a service-minded team player for the Electronic Assembler I position to assemble, test, and calibrate portable instruments used to identify natural gas leaks.

Responsibilities

  • Perform bench assembly and subassembly, including chassis wiring, harness making, and loading and soldering P.C. boards.
  • Insure quality standards are maintained on all products and recommend improvements.
  • Perform simple repairs during assembly process.
  • Assemble wiring for various parts and components.
  • Cut and assemble wires and wiring harnesses.
  • Assemble and solder printed circuit boards.
  • Record, compute, and analyze necessary test data.
  • Detect and report improper operations, faulty equipment, defective materials and unusual conditions to proper supervision.
  • Follow prescribed safety rules and regulations and maintain orderly work area.
  • Recommend improvements in quality, procedures, components, and processes.
  • Perform other duties as requested by supervisor.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Two-year technical degree or equivalent preferred.
  • Must have formal training in electronics technology.
  • Must have two to five years of experience.
  • Computer literate, Epicor a plus.
