Overview

The Check & Straightening Level 1 position at Klune Industries involves performing basic metal forming processes under supervision. Responsibilities

  • Safely perform basic metal forming operations while adhering to safety protocols and customer requirements.
  • Use C/S methods for aluminum parts across various feature types.
  • Verify parts to traveler specified inspection method.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area throughout the shift.

Requirements

  • 0-3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Basic knowledge of manual and powered hand tools.
  • Familiarity with aluminum, titanium, and steel materials.
  • Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints.
  • Basic visual inspection skills.
  • GED or High School diploma preferred but not required.

  • 2nd Shift Schedule: Monday - Friday 1:30 PM – 10:00 PM.
  • Paid On-The-Job Training Schedule: 8 - 12 weeks on 1st shift (5:00 AM – 1:30 PM).
  • Compensation Range: $20/h - $23/h + 2nd shift differential + quarterly incentive bonus + overtime opportunities.
  • Work is performed in a manufacturing environment with exposure to heavy machinery, noise, and other typical shop conditions.
