Overview

The Maintenance Technician position is a customer support role focused on repairing and maintaining various machinery, tools, and equipment across facilities. The role requires attention to detail, the ability to work autonomously, and a strong emphasis on safety and urgency.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively and document repair work, write reports, and create documents.
• Work collaboratively with diverse internal and external teams.
• Be flexible with hours and schedules based on business needs.
• Maintain a safety-first mentality and adhere to high-quality standards.
• Demonstrate a positive mindset and proactively address issues.
• Repair or replace defective equipment using hand and power tools.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure machinery operates efficiently.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems and determine corrective actions.
• Assemble, install, and repair wiring, electrical components, and plumbing.
• Train and lead others in the department to meet objectives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 7+ years of hands-on repair experience with electrical and mechanical systems on machinery.
• Experience with hydraulic systems for repair and maintenance.
• Experience with mechanical machine alignment checks and adjustments.
• Education or training in electronics and electrical systems is desirable.
• Forklift license is required.
• CNC machine repair experience and gantry mill repair experience are a plus.
• Familiarity with Fanuc, Mazak, Siemens CNC controllers, PLC controllers, and servo systems.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with electrical and mechanical metal cutting equipment.
