Overview

Scot Forge is a 130-year-old, 100% employee-owned company that manufactures custom open die and rolled ring forgings. They are seeking a Maintenance Technician/Mechanic for their 2nd shift, offering career advancement and superior benefits.

Responsibilities

  • Perform technical skills including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
  • Diagnose combustion, electrical, and mechanical equipment.
  • Replace defective parts, reassemble and test machinery.
  • Perform repair with fabrication welding and torch operations as required.
  • Work with wiring diagrams and schematics, with knowledge in 480V 3 phase power.
  • Promote a culture that supports safety, quality, integrity, trust, and teamwork.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of plant maintenance experience.
  • Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and PLCs.
  • Experience with HVAC or machine troubleshooting.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to climb ladders and work at elevations up to 60 feet.
  • Preferred: Associates degree in Electro-Mechanical Technology, Industrial Mechanic Technical Diploma, or successful completion of Mechatronics Apprenticeship Program.

Additional Information

  • Work hours are from 1:00 pm to 11:00 pm for the 2nd shift.
  • A 10% shift premium is offered.
  • A hair follicle pre-employment drug screen test and lift test up to 65 lbs are required.
