Overview

Dynomax, Inc is expanding its Electrical Connectors division and is seeking a Soldering Technician to assemble cable harnesses and circuit board connectors. This position requires a strong background in the assembly of small components.

Responsibilities

  • Build and inspect assemblies for conformity to prints and specifications.
  • Hand solder thru-hole and surface mount components and mesh wire splicing.
  • Pre-tin components and wires over solder pot for extended periods of time.
  • Follow manufacturing procedures and written work instructions.
  • Understand wiring schemes, assembly drawings, and callouts.
  • Handle very small parts with tweezers and occasional use of microscope.

Requirements

  • Strong background in the assembly of small components.
  • 3+ years experience in connector assembly or SMT Rework experience preferred.
  • Previous experience at an AS9100 or ISO 9001 company preferred.
  • Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
  • Familiarity with computers.
  • Attention to detail and quality of work.
