Overview

We are seeking an experienced Toolroom Supervisor / Journeyman Moldmaker with strong hands-on experience in injection mold building, repair, modification, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily Toolroom operations while performing hands-on moldmaking work.
  • Build, repair, modify, and maintain injection molds and tooling.
  • Troubleshoot mold and tooling issues.
  • Perform precision fitting, grinding, machining, and mold maintenance.
  • Read blueprints, engineering drawings, and CAD data.
  • Operate mills, grinders, EDM, CNC, and precision measuring equipment.
  • Train and mentor Toolroom employees and apprentices.
  • Coordinate tooling repairs, vendors, and maintenance activities.
  • Support Production and Engineering with tooling improvements and problem-solving.

Requirements

  • Journeyman Moldmaker certification required.
  • Strong experience in injection moldmaking and Tool & Die.
  • Experience building, repairing, and maintaining molds.
  • Previous lead or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong blueprint/CAD interpretation skills.
  • Hands-on experience with manual machining, EDM, grinding, and CNC.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
