Overview

A leading manufacturing company is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to perform maintenance work on machine tools, plant equipment, and buildings. The ideal candidate will have experience in mechanical repair, plumbing, and electrical installation.

Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance work on machine tools, plant equipment, and buildings.
  • Work from written instructions, including manuals, drawings, sketches, and schematics.
  • Perform general maintenance associated with plumbing, light carpentry, and facility maintenance.
  • Assist in snow removal and the moving or rearranging of furniture.
  • Drive company vehicles for various tasks, including picking up or delivering parts and materials.
  • Accurately maintain work logs, inventory, and preventive maintenance records.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and best practices.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma and/or Associates degree in a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in a production or job shop environment.
  • At least 5 years of related experience in building and equipment maintenance.
  • Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be a licensed Black Seal Boiler Mechanic.
