Overview

Carvana is seeking experienced Autobody Preppers with a minimum of 5 years of professional automotive bodywork experience to join their team. The company is known for being the fastest-growing used automotive retailer in U.S. history, and they offer competitive wages and various perks.

Responsibilities

  • Train other autobody technicians.
  • Perform extensive bodywork on multiple panels.
  • Conduct heavy plastic welding/stapling.
  • Execute heavy metal pulling, straightening, shrinking, and stud welding.
  • Repair roofs and rocker panels.
  • Handle large area, heavy bodywork including Bondo repair.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional automotive bodywork experience.
  • Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools.
  • Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds independently.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing production environment.
  • Ability to work mandatory overtime based on business needs.
