Overview

The Mechanical Assembler role at Ralliant Corporation involves driving continuous improvement in operations and assembly processes, with a focus on safety and precision in explosive handling areas. The position requires working under direct supervision and performing various assembly operations on components and subassemblies.

Responsibilities

  • Drive continuous improvement in operations and assembly process.
  • Provide on-the-job training (OJT).
  • Weigh and press inert & energetic materials.
  • Set up and use analytical balance.
  • Perform inert assembly operations.
  • Conduct minor cabling, potting, tinning, and assembly work.
  • Set up and use powder press for pressing operation.
  • Perform minor set-up for specific equipment.
  • May have basic soldering experience.
  • Perform various production assembly operations on components and subassemblies.
  • Use visual aids, drawings, and verbal and written instructions to assemble, modify, re-work, or re-assemble units.
  • Install sub-assemblies.
  • Display proficient dexterity to ensure safe handling of explosive devices.
  • Attend offsite training classes to maintain certification requirements if required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Able to work under direct supervision.
  • Must have the ability to understand, speak, read, and write in English.
  • 1 year of industry assembly work preferred.
  • Soldering experience preferred.

Additional Information

  • OT possible on Friday and Saturday as needed.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
