Overview

Abrazo Arrowhead Campus Hospital is dedicated to providing exceptional patient care in a supportive environment. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will perform a variety of mechanical and preventive maintenance tasks, contributing to the operation and repair of the facility's systems.

Responsibilities

  • Assures maximum climate control of heating, air conditioning, and humidity.
  • Inspects and assists with repairs to power plant/boiler equipment.
  • Performs preventative maintenance and unscheduled maintenance of related systems.
  • Assists in calibration control, performs air balancing, and adjusts repairs on thermostats, valves, compressors, and pumps.
  • Maintains and assists with repairs to boilers and associated heating systems.
  • Performs other related job tasks or responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent GED.
  • Ability to read in English to follow oral and/or written instructions.
  • Knowledge of boiler systems, water treatment, code restrictions, HVAC equipment, and auxiliaries.
  • Ability to learn plumbing, painting, carpentry, and maintenance tools and materials.
  • Knowledge of building controls.
  • Boiler Operator Training required or must obtain within 90 days.
