Overview

At Magna, as a Technician in Engineering, you will support vehicle system and component testing for complete vehicle development programs in a dynamic environment focused on developing industry-leading automotive technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Perform vehicle commissioning and system-level tests according to customer specifications.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical, mechanical, and electro-mechanical issues.
  • Lead and maintain 5S standards and ensure compliance with safety and quality requirements.
  • Document test results, maintenance actions, and troubleshooting steps accurately.
  • Mentor and support lower-level technicians; act as a technical lead as assigned.
  • Interface with customers and support production, quality, and process improvement activities.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or technical/vocational education required.
  • Technician experience in automotive or related technical industries preferred.
  • Proficient computer skills (e.g., MS Office, Google Suite, diagnostic software).
  • Strong technical aptitude, analytical skills, and problem-solving ability.
  • Willingness to learn, adapt, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed.
